Sand Hollow State Park

Sand Hollow State Park is one of Utah’s favorite parks! 20,000+ acres mixes warm blue waters and vibrant red sandstone to create an outdoor playground unlike anything in region. Spend a day in the sun Boating, ATVing, Fishing, Rock Crawling, or just relaxing on the sand – it’s the perfect day in a spectacular setting. Sand Mountain Dunes

Just across the street from the resort are the Sand Mountain Dunes. They seamlessly weave throughout distinctive red rock outcroppings, then blend into thousands of undisturbed acres. Riders of all levels can enjoy the area’s trail diversity by climbing technical slick rock, or riding across naturally groomed sand. Ready to hit the trails? Zion National Park

Zion National Park is a short 45 minute scenic drive from the resort and offers a day full of adventure for the entire family! The Canyon Overlook hike is one the entire family can enjoy. There is also a human history museum that will shed light on the first inhabitants and explorers of southern Utah. Make sure to drive all the way through the park and you will drive through a mile long tunnel, may see big horn sheep, and experience one of the most unique drives of a lifetime. Be sure to check the park website for shuttle details within the park. There are also free town shuttles, but there is a charge for parking in town now.


Snow Canyon

Explore the trails and dunes of beautiful Snow Canyon on foot, bike, and horseback. Discover the secrets of the desert landscape through seasonal and nature programs. Check out “What’s Happening” on the Snow Canyon Web site for updated Sunrise and Moonlit hikes. Snow Canyon has majestic views and the subtle interplay of light and shadow, and color dancing across canyon walls. There are 38 miles of hiking trails, a three-mile paved walking/biking trail and over 15 miles of equestrian trails. Check web site for Canyoneering permits.

Hours: 6:00am-10:00pm daily

Fees: $6.00 per vehicle up to 8 people, $3.00 per vehicle (Seniors 62+) up to 8 people, $4.00 pedestrian/cyclists.

Distance: Sand Hollow to Snow Canyon State Park. 30 miles, 45 minutes.
